Declaration of Non- Antique(s)/Non-Valuable Cultural Property(ies)
  • I, hereby declare that the item(s) is/are not Antique(s)/Valuable Cultural Property(ies) as defined in The Movable Cultural Property Act of Bhutan, 2005 nor do they contain in the form of Zhung (relics) and/or discretely embedded or enclosed with the item(s), contain objects or articles that are Antique(s)/Valuable Cultural Property(ies).
  • I understand that civil and criminal penalties, including forfeiture and sale, will be imposed for making false or fraudulent statements herein for violation of laws on export of Antique(s)/Valuable Cultural Property(ies) as per The Movable Cultural Property Act of Bhutan, 2005
  • The information I provide is true to the best of my knowledge and if it is found to be untrue and incorrect, I shall be liable for fines and penalities and prosecution as per the Law of the Nation.
  • I give my permission to The Department of Culture, The Bhutan Border Check-Post, the Bhutan Customs and the Royal Bhutan Police to inspect and verify that the item(s) are not Antique(s)/Valuable Cultural Property(ies) at all times.
  • If, in need of physical verification, the objects need to be produced at the Department of Culture.
  • In the event that the goods are seized at exit points and are later determined to be non-antique, the Department of Culture shall be responsible for the fees associated with resending them.
